Katie Mehle

Katie Mehle is an instructor in the Intensive English Program. She received her B.A. from Bethany College (WV) in 2004 with a major in English and minor in Communications. She taught English in Toluca, Mexico, (2005-2006) before returning to WVU to pursue an M.A. in Foreign Languages for TESOL, which she completed in 2008 while serving as a graduate teaching assistant for the Intensive English Program. Katie taught in a private language school in Charleston, SC, before returning to WVU’s IEP in 2010 as an instructor. Katie also enjoys serving as the Itochu Coordinator for the IEP, participating in WV TESOL as a Higher Education Representative, and being a homestay parent for visiting international students.
