Virginia University Campus: Beautiful-historic West Virginia University Campus
offers the modern student the best of two worlds. Established in 1867, the main
campus today is a scene of historic beauty wrapped in modern architecture. Whether
you attend in winter, spring, summer, or fall the campus areas are always captivating
and pleasant environments. West Virginia University boasts three recent and extraordinary
additions to the downtown campus landscape. A new Life Sciences building, A new
Business & Economics building and an incredibly inspiring addition to Historic
Wise Library.

and information. We will begin by taking a virtual ride on the PRT. It is fun

Operation Schedule The West Virginia University campuses offer
many new and wonderful experiences to international students. Students have the
benefit of unlimited free travel on our Person Rapid Transit system (PRT). The
PRT is a unique transportation system that you will find both very exciting and
the best way to travel between campuses. |

REC
Center Virtual tour: 
The new REC Center at WVU is really something
to write home about. The facility contains multiple gaming courts for spots such
as basketball, squash or badminton. The facility also sports men's and women's
weight rooms, a climbing wall, a full size swimming pool, hot tub and a whole
lot more! Too much to list here. It is absolutely the perfect way to stay healthy
and unwind after study or on weekends. |

Sports: 
WVU sporting events are a cultural experience
that you will never forget. Tens of thousands of people gather at the WVU Stadium
on football Saturdays. Basketball game nights at the Coliseum are just as exciting.
WVU athletes participate in quite a number of different sporting events including
swimming and track & field. The West Virginia University mascot is the 'Mountaineer.'
